As the name suggests that industrial relations refer to the relations in the industrial environment which focuses on the relation between the labor community and the management. All kinds of industries which include primary, secondary, and even tertiary are included in this.
Handling industrial relations is a complete job in itself where issues need to be heard and problems need to be solved. Opinions cannot be disregarded and everything has to be taken care of. In this scenario, there are going to be problems that have to be taken care of timely to avoid any other trouble.

The major reason for these industrial relations is to make sure that the labor community is getting their basic human rights. The major conflict can arise over this where they are deprived of these rights and they have to suffer at the hands of the management.

While there can be disputes between the two or more parties, it is also a chance that disputes arise within the community as well. This can be due to lack of understanding or even disagreement on a particular rule where some might agree and others might disagree on that.
Maintaining peace and harmony
The labor community does not consist of a few people but is rather an entire community of unlimited people that are present while additions and subtractions keep on going in it. Handling such a huge number of people is a big responsibility as it is not possible to exercise democracy and maintain peace and harmony among those people.
Keeping up with the latest trends
Time changes and so does the trend. One needs to make sure that they are updated with the latest trends that are being followed, either in their community or even in the management that they deal with. Not being aware of the latest trends can cause problems and trouble for a person and cause them to create more problems than finishing the already existing ones.
